Yates County Clerk Molly Linehan and Veterans Service Agency Director Doug Gibbs announced the revival of a discount program for military veterans. The initiative provides eligible veterans with a free ID card for discounts at participating local businesses.
Veterans who have filed their DD-214 forms with the clerk’s office can enroll in the program at no cost. Businesses can join by completing an application form available on the county clerk’s website or by mailing it to the Yates County Clerk’s Office.
Participating businesses will receive a window decal and be listed on the clerk’s website, including their contact information and discount details. “We invite all local businesses to join us in thanking local veterans for their service and sacrifices,” Linehan said.
