The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, May 1st, to celebrate the opening of a new Healthy Kids Programs facility at 10 West Main Street in downtown Waterloo. The event marked the expansion of one of the fastest-growing childcare providers in the United States.

Community members, along with Chamber staff and board members, attended the ceremony. Local business Sugar Mama’s Cookies & Confections provided refreshments, and the Fast & Fusion Food Truck was available throughout the event, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Healthy Kids Programs, known for its comprehensive childcare services including early learning, before and after school programs, and summer camps, now operates over 150 locations across ten states. The new facility in Waterloo is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year, offering spots to children eligible for the Childcare Assistance Program.
