KRockathon Music Festival makes return to NYS Fairgrounds

After several years on pause, the iconic KRockathon rock festival is set to make a comeback at Chevy Court at the Fairgrounds on July 27. The event, dubbed the Sweet Grass KRockathon Reboot and sponsored by Monster Energy and Mess’s Fireworks, will showcase veteran bands like Puddle of Mudd, Hoobastank, and Stabbing Westward among others.

Marissa Greenlar, Chief Content Officer of Galaxy Media Partners, announced the festival’s return, emphasizing a mix of nostalgic acts and new features to enhance the experience for longtime fans. “It’s a rock ‘n roll reunion with a few elevated twists, acknowledging that we’ve all aged a bit,” Greenlar explained.

Tickets for the event go on sale May 10 with a limited number of early bird tickets priced at $35. For those seeking comfort, KRockathon OG passes provide access to exclusive areas with amenities such as shaded seating, private bars, and bathrooms.
