Nellie Ludemann, the Executive Director of the Seneca Falls Historical Society, has accepted a new role as the Museum and Community Relations Manager at the National Women’s Hall of Fame. Ludemann, who began her tenure at the Historical Society in 2019 as an Educator/Program Director, will conclude her duties there on May 17.

During her time at the Historical Society, Ludemann developed numerous programs, including children’s activities and adult education sessions that gained popularity across the community. Her initiatives, such as the EEEK! program for kids and Haunted Tours for adults, were particularly well-received during the COVID pandemic, enhancing local engagement and education.

Appointed as Executive Director in June 2022, Ludemann played a key role in preserving the Historical Society’s mansion and collections, including overseeing significant repairs like the third floor ceiling restoration. The Historical Society has begun its search for a new Executive Director, with details available on their website.
