Deputies say a Canandaigua man was taken into custody after fleeing during a traffic stop in Victor.
On Thursday deputies arrested john Paul Melendez-Ferrer, 33, of Canandaigua following a traffic stop at Eastview Mall.
During that incident and investigation, deputies say he put the vehicle in drive and fled from officers on-scene.
He later exited the vehicle in an attempt to get away.
Melendez-Ferrer was arrested for obstruction and transported to the Ontario County Jail for processing.
