Sheriff: Williamson man faces DWI, other charges after Marion crash

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Williamson man following an investigation into a motor vehicle crash in Marion.

Christopher Ford, 59, was arrested for DWI and other vehicle and traffic violations after deputies were called to a crash.

Ford was asked to participate in standardized tests at the scene, which he failed. He was taken into custody for DWI, then transported to the Wayne County Jail.

Deputies say he then refused a chemical test to determine his blood alcohol content. The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
