A Waterloo man was arrested after police say he tossed an open container from his vehicle while approaching a checkpoint.
The Waterloo Police Department says Trejan M. Mills, 28, was taken into custody on August 1 around 4:37 p.m. for driving while intoxicated.
Officers allege Mills was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition when the incident happened.
Police say Mills was issued traffic tickets for DWI, throwing refuse on a roadway, and operating with an open container of alcohol. He’s scheduled to appear in the Town of Fayette Court at a later date.
