The Ithaca Farmers Market is set to usher in the spring season with its opening day on April 6th, marking the return of a cherished weekly event at Steamboat Landing. Open on Saturdays and Sundays, the market invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy a vast selection of fresh produce, farm-raised products, delectable baked goods, along with wines, beers, spirits, plants, hot foods, and arts and crafts, all sourced within 30 miles of Ithaca.

The outdoor pavilion will host the Saturday market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., continuing through December 21st. Starting May 5th, the Sunday market will commence its season, offering an array of local goods from 10 AM to 3 PM until November. This annual tradition not only celebrates the region’s agricultural bounty but also fosters community engagement in the scenic heart of Ithaca.

As the Ithaca Farmers Market prepares for its 2024 season, attendees can anticipate a vibrant gathering place that showcases the best of local produce and artisanal products. The market’s commitment to local sourcing underscores its role in supporting the regional economy and providing a platform for farmers and craftsmen to connect directly with consumers.
