Canandaigua celebrates end of winter this weekend at Bristol Mountain’s Spring Carnival

Canandaigua will celebrate the end of the 2023-2024 winter season with the Spring Carnival at Bristol Mountain on March 23 and 24. The event, part of the Winter in Canandaigua initiative will feature a variety of family-friendly activities including a Shamrock Scavenger Hunt, an UpHill Challenge, an Easter Egg Hunt, a Banked Slalom exhibition, a Full Send-Off Rail Jam, and a Peanut Butter Cup Challenge. Snow tubing and live DJ performances added to the festive atmosphere throughout the weekend.

In addition to the mountain activities, downtown Canandaigua will offer a warm farewell to winter with culinary delights, refreshing beverages, and live music at select locations. The Spring Carnival aimed at providing a vibrant send-off for the season while showcasing Canandaigua as a premier destination for winter enjoyment in the Finger Lakes Region.

The event is supported by a Market New York grant from Empire State Development and I LOVE NY/New York State’s Division of Tourism, highlighting the community’s effort to promote tourism and local businesses during the colder months.
