The Syracuse basketball team held off a late Louisville rally and picked up an 82-76 victory at the KFC Yum Center on Saturday night, extending their win streak to four games.
With the victory, the Orange improved to 20-10 on the season, 11-8 in the ACC, and 4-6 on the road.
Syracuse controlled the game from start to finish, but Louisville made things interesting late in the second half, trimming SU’s lead to four with 39 seconds left before free throws sealed the win.
Five players scored in double figures for the Orange. Chris Bell led the way with 23 points, Judah Mintz poured in 21, Justin Taylor added 11, and JJ Starling and Maliq Brown split 20 points. Brown also grabbed ten rebounds, recording a double-double.
