Residents of the Town of Ulysses, including those in the Village of Trumansburg, are set to participate in a special election on Wednesday.
The election will decide on a proposition to use American Recovery Plan Act funds for the acquisition of property designated for recreational use. This initiative offers the local community an opportunity to enhance their recreational spaces and facilities.
Polling stations for this special election will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at two locations: The Trumansburg Village Hall, located at 56 East Main Street in Trumansburg, and the Franziska Racker Center at 3226 Wilkins Road.
This special election is a crucial step for the Town of Ulysses in determining the future of their recreational facilities and community spaces.
