Cayuga County man charged with DWI after rollover crash in Sterling

The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest after a DWI accident in the area of Route 104A in the town of Sterling.


It happened September 30, according to the sheriff’s office, who provided an update on October 5.

Lawson Henderson, 22, was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, and other traffic violations.

Around 2:29 a.m. a deputy came across a crash while on patrol along State Route 104A in Sterling. The deputy found Henderson’s vehicle had gone off the road, struck a guard rail, and then overturned.

He was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and was treated at the scene. After that, Henderson was processed and issued traffic tickets to answer the charges at a later date.
