Labatt USA, Syracuse University ink three-year deal to become official import

Labatt USA has entered into a prominent three-year agreement, designating Labatt Blue Light as the “Official Canadian Import of Syracuse Athletics.”


This collaboration, marking Labatt’s most significant collegiate partnership to date, permits Labatt to establish a branded presence with a lower-level concourse station and four upper-level beverage points at the JMA Wireless Dome.

Jason Folaron, Labatt’s brand manager, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Syracuse Athletics has been a key component of the Syracuse identity for years. We’re thrilled to immerse ourselves in this exhilarating environment.”

To inaugurate this partnership, Labatt organized a tailgate event on September 2nd ahead of the Syracuse Orange Football’s home opener. Hosted at The Orange Crate on campus, the festivity attracted over 200 adult fans, providing them a glimpse of the exclusive Labatt X Syracuse Athletics merchandise, including tap handles and neon signs.
