With the 2023 regular season set to begin next week, the Buffalo Bills announced their eight captains.
Those eight players include quarterback Josh Allen, wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, center Mitch Morse, linebacker Von Miller, safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer, and special teamer Tyler Matakevich.
It is the fifth straight season that Allen has been named an offensive captain. He is joined by Diggs, a captain for his third straight year, Davis, a captain for his first season, and Morse, a second-time captain for the Bills in his fifth season in Buffalo.
On the defensive side, Poyer is a captain for his fourth straight season. Hyde is a three-time captain, and Miller earned one for his second straight year with the Bills.
On special teams, Matakevich is a captain for his third straight season.
