Waterloo man charged with grand larceny after stealing wallet

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of David E. Maury, 56, of 407 ½ W. Main Street in connection with a grand larceny incident.


On August 17 around 7 p.m., deputies took Maury into custody after an incident at a local Waterloo business.

The business was not identified. Maury is alleged to have stolen a wallet from another customer, which was found to contain several credit cards.

Following the arrest, Maury was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Waterloo Town Court on September 13, 2023, at 5:00pm.
