Williamson man arrested for DWI following motorcycle crash

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of Timothy Norton, 30, of Sodus, after an investigation into a property damage accident in the Town of Williamson.

Norton is charged with one count of DWI and another of operating with a BAC over 0.08%. The charges follow an incident where Norton allegedly crashed the motorcycle he was operating on Lake Road.

Upon arrival at the scene, deputies found Norton near his motorcycle, and he was subsequently examined by EMS.

Norton participated in standardized field sobriety testing and was then arrested and taken to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, where he submitted to a chemical breath test.

He was processed at the Wayne County Jail and released on appearance tickets, with a court date in the Town of Williamson to be scheduled later.
