Cuff Farm Services, an Auburn-based manure management company, has been awarded $240,000 for an expansion project as part of New York’s 12th round of the Regional Economic Development Council initiative.

The Citizen reported Tuesday that the funding includes a $140,000 grant from Empire State Development and $100,000 in Excelsior Jobs tax credits tied to job creation.

The company plans to use the funds to design, construct, and install a robotic welding cell for repairing augers in manure separators, increasing service capacity, and reducing equipment downtime for farmers.

Governor Kathy Hochul announced on Monday that this project is one of 40 that will be supported with over $27 million in state funding or tax credits.
