State police arrested a Branchport man following a traffic stop in Urbana.
According to a news release, Christopher Rossman, 32, was arrested for criminal contempt and traffic violations.
A traffic stop on Hutches Road led to the roadside investigation, which was followed by an arrest.
Rossman was processed and turned over to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office for an active warrant there.
