State police arrested a Steuben County resident following a sex abuse investigation last month.
On May 19 troopers received a report of sexual abuse in the town of Erwin. New York State Police were assisted by the Steuben County Child Advocacy Center and conducted an investigation.
Taniqua Davis, 21, is accused of providing an 11-year-old child with concentrated cannabis and subjecting them to sexual contact over the course of two days.
As result, Davis was charged with first-degree sex abuse, endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal sale of cannabis.
Davis was processed and taken to the Steuben County Jail for arraignment.
