A Painted Post woman was arrested on a felony assault charge after a domestic dispute in Erwin left another person with multiple lacerations, according to New York State Police.
Amber N. Landsborough, 41, was charged with second-degree assault following an investigation into the Sept. 21 incident.
Troopers responded to a residence on Erwin Street around 6:59 p.m. for a reported assault and found the victim suffering from multiple lacerations.
The victim was taken to a local hospital before being transferred to Robert Packer Hospital for treatment. State Police said the injuries weren’t considered life-threatening.
Investigators determined Landsborough and the victim had been involved in a domestic dispute that became physical. Police did not release additional details about what led to the confrontation or identify the victim.
Landsborough was found a short time later in the town of Lindley and taken to the State Police barracks in Painted Post for processing.
She was subsequently transported to the Steuben County Jail for centralized arraignment.
