Less than one year after closing another location in Ithaca, Starbucks says it’s closing all remaining locations in the city.
The last day for both locations is slated for May 26.
According to 14850, staff were notified on Friday by district management that both locations would be closing at the end of the month due to ‘financial’ and ‘operational’ reasons.
The two Starbucks locations inside Barnes & Noble and Target will not be impacted by the closures, as those are not operated by the company, but stores that house them.
The location in Threshold Plaza, which is the non-downtown location to close later this month is around one year old.
