The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two Seneca County residents following an investigation at a local business in Tyre.
Cody Shannon, 21, of Waterloo was charged with second-degree assault after a disturbance on March 9th around 5 p.m. Shannon is accused of striking another male multiple times in the face, causing fractured bones and wounds that required stitches.
A second male involved in the incident, Malik Perry, 22, of Seneca Falls was also charged with second-degree assault. He’s accused of striking the same male in the face additional times causing them to lose consciousness.
The two were arraigned, then released on their own recognizance. The charges will be answered at a later date.
An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
