For the first time in school history, the Waterloo Tigers are bringing home a state title.

Waterloo (26-1) erased a 12-point fourth-quarter deficit to take down the Putnam Valley Tigers (26-2), 58-48, in a thrilling New York State Class B Final on Saturday evening at Hudson Valley Community College.
The Tigers of Waterloo trailed 39-29 after three-quarters of play, and it looked like they would fall short of their goal again, but they went on a remarkable 29-9 run to claim the win.
Jazzmyn Lewis led three Tigers in double figures with 18 points, 15 of which came in the second half. Morgan Caraballo netted 17 points, and Addison Bree knocked down three three-pointers and finished with 13. Natalie Disanto added six, all of which came behind the arc.
Waterloo will now head to Federations, which is set for next weekend.
