The Victor Blue Devils became the fourth Section V team to advance to the New York State Final Four.
Victor (22-2) edged the Niagara Falls Wolverines (21-3), 66-59, on Saturday night at Rush-Henrietta High School.
The Blue Devils held a 10-point lead at halftime, but Niagara Falls went on a run and cut into the lead, making it a two-point game entering the final eight minutes. However, Victor outscored the Wolverines 23-18 in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.
Griffen Hopkins netted a game-high 21 points to lead three Blue Devils in double figures. Nick Leonard notched 15 points, and Garrett Clarr poured in 13.
Victor will face Brentwood (XI) next Friday at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls. Tipoff is slated for 2:45 p.m.
