State police say one person was arrested after a traffic stop on State Route 223 in the town of Erwin on January 28th.
Around 9:46 p.m. Melanie A. Corigliano, 47, from Amityville, was suspected of being intoxicated after a trooper detected the smell of alcohol.
Corigliano refused part of the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and was taken to Horseheads.
After providing a positive breath sample for blood alcohol content, Corigliano was charged with DWI.
She was given an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Erin Court on February 28th, 2023.
