On January 13th Norman H Chapman, 51, of Ithaca was arrested by deputies on County Road 142 in the Town of Covert.
The arrest was made following a property damage accident.
According to a news release, Chapman was charged with DWI and issued other traffic tickets.
No injuries were reported in the accident.
Chapman will answer the charges at a later date in local court.
