The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team (12-6, 5-2) rallied to defeat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (9-9, 1-6), 78-73, on Saturday night at the JMA Wireless Dome.
Syracuse trailed by four at the half and by 12 at one point in the second half but went on a scoring run to erase the deficit and notch the win.
Four players finished in double figures for the Orange. Chris Bell led the way with a season-high 17 points, including five three-pointers. Maliq Brown netted 15, Judah Mintz poured in 14, and Jesse Edwards added 13 and secured 15 rebounds, recording another double-double.
