A 46-year-old man was arrested in Auburn on January 4th for Aggravated Criminal Contempt, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Richard P. Butler II was taken into custody after deputies serving an eviction at a residence on Grover Street discovered him with the protected party, in violation of a valid order of protection.
Butler appeared in the Cayuga County Centralized Arraignment Court and was ordered to be held on $25,000 cash bail or a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to Auburn City Court on January 11th.
