The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team (6-4) picked up their third straight win on Saturday afternoon with an 83-64 victory over the Georgetown Hoyas (5-6) at the JMA Wireless Dome.
Syracuse trailed by 11 points early in the first half but went on a scoring run to take a double-digit lead into the locker room and never looked back.
Four players finished in double figures for the Orange. Jesse Edwards led the way with his fourth double-double of the season, scoring 20 points and securing 11 rebounds. He also blocked five shots, his third game with five or more blocks this season. Judah Mintz also recorded a double-double, netting 16 points and notching 10 assists. Joe Girard had 15, while Benny Williams added 13.
