Rochester Red Wings fall short in loss to Indianapolis

The Rochester Red Wings fell short in a 5-3 loss to the Indianapolis Indians on Saturday night at Victory Field. With the loss, Rochester has dropped four of the first five games in the six-game series.

Mason Thomspon got the ball for the Red Wings and allowed a run over two innings. Anthony Machado surrendered three runs in relief and Connor Sadzeck gave up one. Alberto Baldonado recorded the final six outs of the game.

Taylor Gushue, John Nogowski, and Jake Alu collected RBIs for Rochester. Andrew Stevenson, Lucius Fox, Daniel Johnson, and Alu notched multi-hit games.

The week-long series concludes on Sunday at 1:35 p.m.
