For the first time since early in the COVID-19 pandemic, Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck is allowing in-person visits with inmates at the county jail.
COVID-19 numbers have been preventing visitation
Schenck says several plans to resume in-person visits in recent months had to be scrapped, due to rising COVID-19 numbers.

There’s more information on jail visitation policy at the Sheriff’s Department website. In-person visits are also allowed at the Auburn Correctional Facility.
