Two arrested on possession charge in Seneca County

Police arrested two individuals in Covert after responding to an incident on Friday.

According to a news release, troopers from Waterloo arrested Geoffrey A. Stilwell, 44, of Trumansburg and Courtney B. Bowers, 25, of Waterloo for criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The incident took place on Kellys Corner Road in the town of Covert. Stilwell and Bowers were both charged with possession with intent to sell.

Both individuals were remanded to the Seneca County Jail for arraignment.
