Girl Scouts offer free Community Day Camp for K-5 girls in Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben counties

The Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways Council in partnership with The Triangle Fund is offering a free Community Day Camp running August 9-11 for any girl in grades K-5 residing in Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben counties. Camp runs Tuesday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Scout House in Hammondsport.

The program includes a fun patch. In order for residents of the tri-county area to qualify for the free camperships, a form is required to be filled out (minus the income section) here. All attendees (if not already registered Girl Scouts) must register and pay for a Girl Scouts membership which is $25 for the year. This cost will also be covered by financial assistance using the form link above.

New friends and adventures await your girl at Girl Scouts Community Day Camp! Wonder what it’s like to have the best day ever? Love being outside? Want to play field games, make a fairy house and be a frog detective? Two colorful teams both strong and bold will work their way through fun, wet, colorful activities.

If you’re new to Girl Scouts or your girl is a resident outside of Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben counties and wants to attend this day camp, call 1.800.943.4414 and choose option 2 to speak with GSNYPENN Customer Engagement.
