Why did he cancel the rest of the tour?
Shawn Mendes has cancelled the remainder of his international ‘Wonder’ tour. The singer made this announcement on Wednesday via Instagram. Previously, he had postponed a few shows but has made the decision to cancel the remainder of the tour. Mendes said that he wasn’t prepared for how difficult touring would be.
Mendes shared that after talking with his team and health professionals he has realized that he “need[s] to take the time I’ve never taken personally, to ground myself and come back stronger.”
Fan in the US, UK, and Europe are now just hoping to make it to any rescheduled shows. However, if you don’t want to wait– you can get a refund.

Several venues that had planned to host Mendes have tweeted about how they will issue refunds.
The Scotia Arena said that tickets will automatically be refunded and to watch for emails from Ticketmaster for refund conformation. The Gila River Arena in Arizona shared that all refunds should be processed within 30 days.
The tour started at the end of June and was supposed to last into 2023. He had postponed a few shows and it was set to resume on July 31– but ultimately decided to cancel it altogether. There aren’t any clear indications if the tour will start again or when and if shows will be rescheduled.
