First responders say a Penn Yan woman suffered minor injuries after a car she was in collided with another over the weekend.
The crash happened in the town of Benton when 39-year-old Daniel Hargraves, of Hornell entered the intersection of Hall and Ferguson Corners roads and failed to yield the right of way.
The second vehicle was operated by 23-year-old Emily Soughterson, of Rock Stream.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged as result of the collision. Hargraves, who was not hurt in the wreck, was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
Alana Snyder, 25, was taken to the hospital by Penn Yan Ambulance. Other passengers in that vehicle were not hurt.
