The Rochester Red Wings dropped the series finale to the Omaha Storm Chasers, 13-7, on Sunday afternoon at Frontier Field.
Omaha led 6-0 after the top of the first but Rochester fought their way back and tied the game at 6-6 in the bottom of the eighth before the bullpen collapsed in the top of the ninth.
Carson Teel started for the Red Wings and struggled. The right-hander surrendered five runs and recorded just one out. Patrick Murphy struggled even more as he allowed six runs in relief.
Joey Meneses homered twice and drove in four of the seven runs for Rochester. Josh Palacios, Jake Noll, and Jecksson Flores each chipped in with an RBI.
The Red Wings will get a few days off for the All-Star break before they return to action on Friday at Buffalo.
