New leadership will be coming to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff, Undersheriff leaving next year
The Finger Lakes reports Sheriff Tim Luce announced Friday he will not run for re-election when his current term is up next year. Undersheriff John Cleere has announced he will retire at the end of next year.
Luce was elected in 2015 after Jack Stenberg retired, and was re-elected in 2019. Cleere has worked for the Sheriff’s Department for over 35 years.
