Police say a Moravia resident was arrested after a property damage crash in the city of Ithaca.
According to a news release, officers were called to East State Street for a property damage crash on Saturday.
The officer attempted to complete a traffic stop on the vehicle leaving the scene. However, the driver of the vehicle failed to comply. The driver continued traveling away at a low rate of speed- and eventually stopped in a parking lot.
The driver was identified as 46-year-old Douglas Tallman, of Moravia.
He was found to be intoxicated and charged with DWI as a felony, AUO as a felony, and other traffic infractions.
The charges will be answered at a later date. No injuries were reported.
