Police arrested a man in Canandaigua following an altercation that took place in the presence of a child.
According to a news release, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jeremy Alan Payne, 42, of Hemlock for assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Payne was involved in a physical altercation with a victim which resulted in physical injury. The dispute took place in the presence of the victim’s child, a minor.
Payne is due before the Canandaigua Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
