Geneva woman shoplifts from Walmart, swaps price tags

Police arrested a Geneva woman following a theft at Walmart.

According to a news release, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Nancy Rojas-Bermudez, 47, of Geneva for petit larceny and falsifying business records.

Rojas-Bermudez had switched the price tags on merchandise and by doing so, failed to pay the proper price for multiple items. She also did not scan multiple items at the self-checkout and passed all points of sale without attempting to render payment.

She is due to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date to answer the charges.
