It closed for a short time, but has since reopened.
The portal is free and doesn’t require tax documents.
In addition to claiming the child tax credit, you can also claim the $1,400 stimulus check if you qualify.
How to claim the child tax credit using the portal
You can fill out a form online in the portal.
It asks for things like income information and takes around 15 minutes to finish.
It has not been announced when the portal will close again.
