Pedestrian hit by car on Rt. 104 in Ontario: Miraculously avoids serious injury

Deputies have identified those involved in a crash over the weekend where a pedestrian was struck along State Route 104 in Wayne County.

It happened in the town of Ontario around 11 p.m. on Sunday, according to a news release.

It was reported that the operator identified as Michael E. Bosco was traveling east while Malachi Bovee was walking in front of the Budget Inn.

Bovee was struck despite Bosco’s efforts to avoid colliding with him. Miraculously, no injuries were reported in the crash.

However, the pedestrian was transported to Rochester General Hospital as a precaution.

Deputies were assisted by Ontario Volunteer Ambulance personnel.
