Millions of Pennsylvania state residents could benefit from a $2,000 stimulus check if a plan to spend COVID funds is approved.

Households would need to make under $80,000 to qualify for the payment.
The plan is to help families facing severe economic hardship.
The funds must be spent by the end of 2024. If not, the remaining funds must go back to the federal government.

$225 million is also being proposed to be set aside for small businesses. This is for those that were negatively impacted by the shut down.
$325 million would bolster the healthcare system for the state.
Finally, $450 million would help revitalize communities and conservation efforts.
