The town of Geneva holds a public hearing tonight on a proposed zoning map change to accommodate a Planned Unit Development. (PUD)
Jacob Fox has purchased property that formerly belonged to Red Jacket Orchards off Route 14 south of the city. Geneva Town Supervisor Mark Venuti tells us about his plans.
Fox plans to live on the property while practicing what he calls regenerative agriculture. A second hearing will be held tonight on redefining “agricultural commerce.” The change would explicitly allow events and live music at breweries and wineries that are zoned agricultural. The hearings will be held at the beginning of the Town Board meeting at 5:30 at the Town Hall.
