Bo Wright toured Geneva schools and talked with community members on Monday ahead of his swearing in as the new Geneva City School District (GCSD) Superintendent.
The district announced Bo Wright as the new superintendent on Friday, March 25 following the resignation of former Superintendent Patricia Garcia earlier this year. Wright has served as the superintendent of the Rush-Henrietta Central School District since 2018 and is a graduate of Geneva High School.

Wright will assume his new role on July 1, 2022. He toured district buildings on Monday, March 28 to meet staff and administrators, according to Finger Lakes Times. A reception was held in the high school later that afternoon.
The GCSD Board of Education unanimously approved a four-year contract for Wright on Monday, which provides Wright with an initial annual salary of $205,000.
