People with COVID-19 will no longer be required to self-isolate in England.
This comes as part of the government’s plan for “living with COVID.”

What’s changing?
Prime Minister Boris Johnson of the United Kingdom, is doing away with all COVID-19 restrictions. He said that this is to “protect ourselves without restricting our freedoms.” Read more about it here.
In addition to removing the self-isolation requirement, vaccine passports and mask mandates were removed from the list of requirements in January.
Johnson also said, “COVID will not suddenly disappear, and we need to learn to live with this virus and continue to protect ourselves without restricting our freedoms.”
This decision comes as 85% of people there aged 12 and up have had both vaccine doses. Almost two-thirds have received the booster shot.
