Maine and Massachusetts residents have a deadline of April 19, 2022.
This is due to Patriots Day being celebrated in those states.
What to do about failed tax payment notices
If you were the victim of tornadoes in Illinois, Kentucky, or Tennessee, you have until May 16.
This is true for victims of fires in Colorado as well.
You may request an extension until Oct. 17, 2022.
It’s unlikely the April 18 deadline will be extended like is has for the last two years due to the pandemic.
