Police report the arrest of a Geneva man.
According to a news release, the Geneva Police Department arrested Willie H. Spann, 54, of Geneva for criminal sale of a controlled substance.
It is alleged that Spann was observed in Geneva selling cocaine and fled officers after he was advised to stop. Upon investigation, it was discovered Spann also had an active bench warrant out. He was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, obstructing governmental administration, and failure to appear.
Spann was taken into custody and is pending arraignment.
