The Cayuga County Legislature has approved replacements for Ray Bizzari, outgoing director of community services, who has held the position for the past decade. The Legislature passed a local law in 2021 that effectively separated Bizzari’s role into two positions.
Christine Bianco was appointed as commissioner of social services with an annual starting salary of $106,157, according to The Citizen.
Lauren Walsh was appointed to serve as director of community services with annual starting salary of $97,000.
