This would be the fifth check some teachers can collect after the three federal stimulus payments and one previously sent by the state of Florida.
Governor Ron DeSantis says he think this move is a great idea.
He claims to have focused on making Florida a leader in education and this is an investment.
DeSantis believes boosting teachers pay is an indirect investment into making a difference for students.
